The sunrise was brilliant and short-lived.
It reminded me of the saying, “Red sky in the morning is a sailor’s warning” because snow was predicted by late morning.
Within minutes the sky was gray.
A light snow arrived about 11:30 am.
That’s a lot like the days we had for the last two weeks of December — but on January 1 it was sunny and beautiful!
