I thought it would be fun to take pictures of the same two trees as they went through the metamorphosis of the Fall season.
October 24. These two trees tower over our front yard near the road. The one closest to the field was beginning to change colors first.

November 6. A frosty morning
November 9. The peak of color.
November 12. Starting to lose leaves on a rainy morning.
November 18. Morning fog.
November 18. After the fog.
November 28. The leaves are mostly brown or on the ground.
Today. December 8. A cold, cloudy day. More leaves are on the ground than on the tree.
Still looks beautiful!
I know. I love the beauty of trees in any season.
As Fall changes to Winter– I like the 3rd one best, although the misty shot is gorgeous too!
It has been fun to watch all our trees change, but these two are in my direct view from the kitchen.
