A Visit COVID-19 Style

Sunday, April 5

Deb – our youngest daughter, from an hour away – had some food and things she wanted to give us and came yesterday afternoon. (Her husband, Roy, had already gone to their house near his job in Hanover. The reason he wasn’t along.)

It was a nice afternoon, so we visited on the patio – with masks and six-feet apart.

She also had masks for us – several store-bought and two made by her friend Bernae. She and Cerwin are each wearing one made by Bernae.

Oops! When I tried to put mine on, it caught my glasses and flipped up over my eyes. πŸ™‚ “Hey, Deb, is this how I am supposed to wear this?”

Of course she and Cerwin wanted pictures before I fixed it.

While we were watching birds, we noticed an Eastern Bluebird in the top woodpecker hole.

When I edited my pictures today, I called Deb and said, “Do you want to hear something funny? Remember that bluebird in the woodpecker hole from yesterday?” Of course she remembered. “That was not a bird but a hole that went the whole way through the tree. The blue was sky.” πŸ™‚

After she left, we went through the things she left inside our garage door. Food and cleaning supplies. She had some extra cleaning supplies because of her rescue work with animals and asked if I needed anything. The smaller box included 4 rolls of toilet paper. Yay! πŸ™‚

As I went through the food, I froze some and put others in the refrigerator. This container did not make it to the freezer or refrigerator, but became our supper. It was so good.

Thank you Deb and Bernae for blessing us.
