Pink Yard
Our cherry tree was beautiful this year when it was in full bloom, now that part of our yard is pink with blossoms.
Rest in the Lord and be willing to wait for Him. Psalm 37:7 (NLV)

These pictures are from the end of March when our hyacinth were in full bloom. ~~~ Something to Ponder ~~~
This male flicker was enjoying suet that I placed in our cracked but still usable bird bath. ~~~ Something to Ponder ~~~

~~~ Saturday, May 3 2 pm At the Upper Room on Queen Road Gordonville, PA ~~~ This was a new location for me – and about 45 minutes away – so I was glad for this sign when I arrived at the location, which was in a multi building business complex. Then I went up […]
I often hear equipment in the fields before I see them. It was beautiful weather to harvest the winter wheat in our neighborhood during the last few days of April. This field was harvested in bulk into trucks. The four oldest Zuck children were here for a few days (while Grammy Diane was visiting from […]
~~~ Wednesday Noon, April 30 ~~~ Our cousin Marian (right) was standing (talking to someone) when it was time for prayer, so she was appointed to be the one who prayed for us and our meals. There were 35 people – the largest group ever for one of these lunches. Three were from the next […]
~~~ April 27 ~~~ We were set up by Saturday evening and ready for 12 guests, plus us. I don’t usually take photos during these meals because some people don’t like their photo on social media. This meal began when we wanted to invite someone who should not have salt, so I asked my sister […]
~~~ Friday Evening, March 25 ~~~ This was to celebrate Cerwin’s birthday which happened earlier in the week. Friday evenings seem to work best for our children to meet. Cerwin’s restaurant choice is usually LongHorn Steakhouse. I was testing the lighting while our waitress was finishing up our orders. It looks like Roy is telling […]
~~~ Thursday, April 24 ~~~ Great Grandchildren: Harper, Drake, and Jade Following a Two Cousins Restaurant supper of pizza, stromboli, and wings, the children went outside to play. They were playing with a ball pump after putting air into a few balls. We originally had Jenna’s birthday supper planned for closer to her end-of-March birthday, […]
~~~ Tuesday, April 22 ~~~ So beautiful.
Lydia (one of our granddaughters) stopped in the day of Cerwin’s birthday (April 22) and presented us with these yummy cupcakes. These are the best! You can usually tell the flavor by the topping. Consequently, my first choice was the middle one on the top, which I supposed was lemon. Oh, yes! It was filled […]

~~~ Tuesday, April 22 ~~~ Breakfast Cerwin and I started his birthday by going to the “old” truckers’ breakfast at Yoder’s Restaurant, New Holland. In this picture Cerwin is sharing whoopie pies with each of the drivers. Most of these guys are retired and get together each Tuesday morning to enjoy breakfast and tell old […]
It is nice to again see goldfinches in their brilliant Spring and Summer colors. ~~~ Something to Ponder ~~~
It is time to catch up on the road pictures I took through our kitchen windows in February and March. Oh, my. I am not sure I want to remember our last snow in February. By the end of March it was getting warm enough to walk home from church service. In several weeks I […]
