When going out to eat lunch on New Year’s Day we made what could have been a four -mile drive into about fifteen miles.
The first back road we chose went past the house where we lived when we got married in 1963 – sixty years ago. The Graybill’s worked the fields and had cattle, equipment and things like hay in the barns and sheds.
It hasn’t changed a whole lot. Especially the house. We lived here from September 1963 until October 1967. Jeff and Diane were born when we lived here.

Where was your first hom
If you live locally, you will recognize – between Elm and Halfville on Newport Road. If you aren’t local It is between Penryn and Lititz. It really isn’t far from where we currently live.
