Cerwin, Jere, Kristen, Diane, Jeff, Chris, Deb, Roy. (We missed you, Mark.)

Because Diane is here for a week, we thought it would be fun to take our children out for a meal to celebrate our upcoming anniversary. We had four open days and a variety of times, but Sunday lunch is the only date that suited everyone. πŸ™‚

Cerwin thought it would be nice to have another photo of us.

Our children may be adults, but they don’t always act grown up. πŸ™‚

The vegetables were started first.

Onion volcano

We sang Happy Birthday to Deb (whose birthday was two days earlier) while the volcano was burning.

Preparing the fried rice.

The vegetables were about ready to serve.

The fried rice is ready to serve.

Preparing the steak. Most got steak. There were also orders for shrimp and lobster.

When it was time to leave we went to see Roy and Deb’s new car and watch them put the top down.

It was a beautiful afternoon for a convertible ride.

Oh, what fun to hang out with our children. We hadn’t done that since early February 2020 – just before COVID closed down the restaurants.
