Mother’s Day

~~~
Part of me feels bad that our children and grandchildren think they need to get me something for Mother’s Day, but the other part of me enjoys it. πŸ™‚
There were promises of a “meal out” and “we need to do something together in the near future.”
A rose from church
Now a kind of funny one. This balloon was a Mother’s Day gift from Roy and Deb in 2020 – a year ago. Deb apologized for it because she wasn’t pleased with how it had been filled – thinking it wouldn’t stay up very long.
That became a joke all year, because it stayed up until about two weeks ago – gradually lowering until it touched the ground. I took this picture today before throwing it out.
