These daffodils are always the first flowers of the spring and summer to bloom in our memory garden.

They are bulbs originally planted by my dad when he and our step-mother moved to her house.

After he died in 1997, she asked if I would like some of the bulbs in his memory. I loved the idea and planted them in our memory garden behind the house.

This Carolina Chickadee was just chilling on the branch when I noticed it.

A male Eastern Bluebird was searching for bits of seed in this feeder.

A female Eastern Bluebird trying out our new round suet feeder.

I moved the other round suet feeder closer to the kitchen window so I could get better closeup pictures. This Junco was one of the birds to notice that it had been moved.

I enjoyed watching this Carolina Wren.

I enjoy watching birds as the weather gets warmer.
