Sunday school – Teacher: Nevin Ebersole – A Covenant of Love

Do not be too busy to love.

Are you satisfied with the way you love?

God will never stop loving you. He is continually searching for your heart and your response to His love.

God’s love is deeper than you can imagine.

God’s love is kinder than you can imagine.

God’s love is more patient that you can imagine.

Love changes everything.

Worship

Opening by Jason Althouse

Member of our church – missionary in Nicaragua

I am learning from 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks “in everything.”

It is God’s will that I give thanks when there are problems and uncertainties – when my world is turned upside down.

It is God’s will that I give thanks when new men and women are added to God’s kingdom in our small church.

Preacher: Merv Groff – John 5:1-18

The man who had an infirmity never gave up – after 38 years of waiting by the pool. Then, just like that, Jesus came by and asked if he wanted to be healed.

Jewish leaders were upset that Jesus healed the man on the Sabbath. Beware of being caught up in laws that are not of God.

The Jewish leaders did not really care about the man.

Just like this man, there are millions of people waiting to be healed by God, but there is no one to help them – no one to tell them – no one who cares.

Be one of those people who cares about others.
