I was looking forward to this luncheon because I enjoy going to Nick’s Bistro in Marietta.

The table was ready for us.

We were early, so Inge and I took advantage of the time to take pictures of the pretty Christmas decorations.

Ruth Martin (Executive Secretary to the Offices of President and Chaplains) asked Dan to remain standing – and presented a gift card to him from the office staff, a sign of our appreciation for his years of service. His wife, Melody, and Cerwin are looking on from their chairs at the table.

There was one empty chair as Sam Rittenhouse was just diagnosed with pneumonia. Update tonight – December 17 : Sam was taken to the hospital today and is stable in ICU.
