I love the beauty of a cold, gray, rainy day – when I can stay inside.

I guess that makes me a pluviophile – a person who loves rain; someone who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy days. 🙂

I can’t explain it,

Rain makes me feel like God has pushed the pause button on life.

It does something to my soul.

It soothes my spirit.

It blesses my entire being.

Rain makes me feel calm inside.

It makes me smile.

One of my favorite days as a grandmother happened one summer when several of our granddaughters and I ran through a prolonged rain shower, because it was time to get to the car.

We laughed and got soaking wet!

Cold, rainy days make me feel like sipping a hot cup of tea.

I feel close to God on rainy days.

Relaxed – without worries and concerns

To me – going outside in the rain is a lot more than getting wet.

I feel God.

He and I have “a thing” about days like this.

We delight in each other.

I love a rainy day.
