Then after hugs and goodbye’s we were on our way south ~ for the next nine-and-a-half hours.

It was a beautiful day for traveling.

We missed Ian’s twelfth birthday while we were in Maine, so went to see his birthday gift ~ a gun for his first hunting trip this fall.

I love traveling, but it is always good to see the skies of home.
