Hershey Family Easter

Sunday, April 27

This Hershey family gathering at our house consists of my siblings, their children, and grandchildren.

1 Easter (1)Two willing and very helpful granddaughters ~ Jana and Gloria ~ came home with us after church to help us get ready for the evening meal.

1 Easter (2)We made 96 mini ham and cheese sandwiches which would be baked just before supper.

1 Easter (3)After that they helped Grandpa set up the food table ~ which had to be brought up from the pavilion.

1 Easter (4)I often think of my Grandpa and Grandma Hawthorne when we use this table. My dad bought it at their household auction for a few dollars ~ probably forty years ago.

1 Easter (6)People began arriving shortly before 3:00 p.m. for visiting, and those with children came by 4:00 p.m. to participate in the egg hunt that our daughter Deb organizes.
