Thursday, September 3 Photos: A mix of mine and our daughter Deb’s By the time we got to the bleachers for the ceremony many seats were taken, so we each found seats where we could. There was no way all eleven could sit in the same area. God Thing #4: Jere and Kristen knew only […]

I don’t usually comment on my morning Bible verse selection. However, today, September 3, as I make this entry, we are in a motel on the marine base at Parris Island, SC, for the graduation of our grandson, Jesse (right) from boot camp. Which means he is now a Marine! In the above photo, his […]
Yesterday we celebrated Ian’s birthday (which was the day before) by taking them to Tosco Pizza in Myerstown. We enjoyed catching up on their lives and learning more about them. It blesses my life to sit and talk with grandchildren. Cerwin and Nicole had stromboli, Ian’s choice was a deep-dish cheese pizza, and I had […]

Late yesterday afternoon our pest control person called to ask if he could come today. We said, yes that works. We have him on schedule for each spring and fall to make sure we don’t have to deal with termites, carpenter bees, ants, and any other bugs that like to live in our woodlot and […]

They showed up shortly after noon yesterday and began by taking this machine over […]
