Our hummingbirds were late in coming to the feeders this year, but now we are seeing them every day – many times a day.
It is especially fun to see them using the feeder we bought at the Philadelphia Flower Show in March.
It was interesting to look over these pictures and notice that each of these is a female. I see lots of males too, but apparently did not get a photo of them.
I have a hummingbird feeder like that one! I got it at one of the last big shows I went to – I think it may have been the Bizarre Bazaar in Richmond. I’ve had ours out for a couple months but have yet to see a hummingbird. I had lots of them at our place in Beaverdam, but not as many here in Harrisonburg. 🙁 I can enjoy your photos, though! 🙂
I didn’t think we were going to see any this year, then about the middle of June they began arriving. We usually see them in early May.
