Sunday, April 5 at Jere and Kristen’s house

Beautiful fresh flowers

Pretty tulip napkins

Jeff, Roy, Ian, and Nicole visiting before lunch.

Jere, Kristen, Austin and Jana (arriving with her delicious chocolate chip cookies) and Deb

The ham, just after Jere brought in from the smoker – after “cooking” all night.

Jere has become quite skilled in creating delicious meat in their smoker. Easter meat this year was ham and chicken (also prepared in the smoker – just not so many hours. Oh, my! Both were amazingly delicious.

I forgot to take a picture of their delicious meal, so I stole this from Deb’s Facebook page. 🙂 Clockwise: Peas, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, filling, and ham. (It looks like Deb didn’t have any chicken.

Jeff, Ian, Nicole, Jere, Kristen (background) Jana, Austin, Jared, Yeira, and Jesse. I didn’t take any posed pictures at the table, so you will notice people talking and chewing. 🙂

Yeira, Jesse, Deb, and Roy – waiting for food.

Chocolate cake (it had a fancy name with lots of delicious ingredients), chocolate chip cookies, and lime cheese cake.

Dessert was delicious, but this was my favorite.

Jesse, our youngest grandchild graduates this year and is already enrolled in the Marines. Oh my, this is going to be a new stretch for our prayer life. We are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for him.

He heads to boot camp a few days after graduation from high school and Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, Willow Street, in Automotive Technology.
That looks like a lovely holiday dinner! My bet wishes to Jesse as he joins the Marines!
It was fabulous. An thanks for the best wishes for Jesse.
Filling? Is that stuffing/dressing?
Yes. 🙂
