Creation Museum – Part 1

Wednesday, August 23

I was pleased to begin our vacation early Wednesday morning.

The morning sky was pretty behind us…

…and ahead of us.

At one point the morning sky was expressive. I smiled when I thought this cloud formation looked like an old lady in the wind. 🙂

A Pennsylvania tunnel

We checked into our motel then headed to the Creation Museum – about 3:30 pm.

Most of the animals and creatures are animated.

This was a real finch.

I am going to allow most of the pictures to speak for themselves. I took a lot of pictures, but the museum is full of information that could not be properly photographed.

This Martin Luther display got our attention because Cerwin and I visited Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, about nine years ago.

Going through the tunnel into the creation area of the museum.

Cerwin reading about the construction of the ark.

The Creation Museum was incredibly informative and interesting.

Tomorrow I will show you pictures of the beautiful grounds surrounding the museum.
