It’s always fun to attend a birthday party for a one-year-old. They have no idea of what is going on, but they have fun when all the attention is on them.

Supper was a delicious blend of vegetables, meat, and cheese baked in a cookie sheet. There was also a great salad mix.

Singing happy birthday to Renee who loved the fruit dessert. Nate, Renee, Abby and Lydia.

Aunt Adrielle (Nathaniel’s sister) taking a picture.

From the other end of the table. Lydia, Dale and Luanne (Nate’s parents), Cerwin and Adrielle.

The incredibly delicious birthday “cake” was Pavlova, which is made with fruit, whipped cream and a meringue crust.

Renee enjoyed the whipped cream and fruit.

Notice how nice her hair looks in this picture.

This picture was taken after she gave herself a whipped cream hair massage. We thought that would probably be good for all of us as it would probably put moisture in our hair.

She loved her presents. This was a special blanket made by her grandma Luanne.

Her siblings Anthony, Jamine and Natalie had fun watching her open gifts. This was a gift box of snacks and little things from us.

We decided her favorite thing was clothing. She wrapped them around her neck and danced around the room. Then she dropped it on the floor and did the same thing with another piece of clothing.

What fun celebrating her birthday.
