We always look forward to having Nate and Abby’s children for a few hours every now and then.
It’s the first time we had their youngest – Renee – for a few hours. She was here a few weeks ago but was sleeping in her car seat when she arrived and woke up just a short time before Abby got back. She did well after waking up, so Abby took a chance on her being okay for a longer period of time. Because her three siblings were here, she didn’t seem to care that she was at a new place.
After lunch the three oldest watched Paw Patrol for their rest time. Renee eventually slept there between Anthony and Jasmine. Natalie is the one on the right.
The girls like to play this block game on my laptop. It works nice for them that I have a touch screen.
Anthony played a similar game on Cerwin’s laptop, then watched a hunting show with him.
It was fun to give Abby a few hours to spend with a friend.
It helps that Renee knows you, and that her siblings were there to make her feel that she belonged where she was! And Anthony seems to be a great big brother for the other three! How fun for you to see them grow!
They live just 2 miles from us, so it is easy for Abby to bring them here now and then.
