I hung a new suet feeder – a gift from our daughter Deb.
Later our suet feeders were invaded by a group of starlings.
They’re kind of fun to watch.

I hung a new suet feeder – a gift from our daughter Deb.
Later our suet feeders were invaded by a group of starlings.
They’re kind of fun to watch.
I know that Starlings are considered by some to be a pest, they are actually quite beautiful birds, with the brown spots on their backs. They would be fun to watch in a feeding frenzy!
I think I too would consider them pests if they always invaded our feeders, but I don’t see them in abundance. Our nearby farms keep them occupied.
