Make-A-Wish – York

Sunday, May 1

DSC_1317It was a cold, rainy morning as we headed to the York Make-A-Wish gathering place at Battlefield Harley-Davidson, Gettysburg.

Our first visitor came for prayer.

DSC_1333There was no activity at the children’s rides until the rain stopped – after noon.

We had other visitors – especially families – that I didn’t photograph. Some Boy Scouts (who were gathering trash) stopped in to get warm.

DSC_1410The chapel gets a great spot in the lot.

We are in among the vendors, so cannot travel with the convoy – but that is perfect for this event.

It was a great day – despite the rainy start.

  1. So sad that it rained. But I love that there were so many “Make a Wish Child on Board” signs on the trucks — how very nice of the men to do that.
