Sunday, October 26 ~ Rolling Prairie, Indiana, to Duluth, Minnesota

DSC_1506I was hoping to capture the pretty reflection of lights on the water, but there wasn’t enough light while in a moving vehicle.

DSC_1509Cerwin wanted to avoid Chicago Skyway by taking I-80/I-94, but a bridge was closed.

DSC_1513Traffic wasn’t too bad since it was a Sunday morning.

DSC_1517Before long we were on the west side of Chicago, traveling north on I-90. The sky ahead of us was a mixture of pink and blue – and behind us…

DSC_1516…there was evidence that the sun was going to rise.

DSC_1527Then we began seeing the sunrise behind us.

DSC_1529It was 32 degrees at sunrise.

Our morning consisted of stopping for breakfast, and listening (cell phone) to our Sunday school lesson and church service from home as we traveled.
