I thought it may take a few days for the birds to realize that I had filled their feeders, after several weeks of them being empty.

However, I was pleasantly surprised when I looked out the window and saw lots of birds – goldfinches and house finches.

How do I know the difference? The Hairy is much larger than the Downy.
