Memorial Day – Monday, May 27 – A Family Project
There were lots of weeds to be cut down, leaves to be raked, and branches and things left over from last winter to be burned.
My brother Dale and I started weed eating early to prepare the way for those who were coming with rakes and wheelbarrows.
Jared, Jesse, and Ian’s first assignment was the leaf-covered sandbox.
Josh and his mom, Kristen.
Jeff was in charge of keeping the fire going.
Our step mother, Velma, always cleans the bathroom area. It looks like Josh will have another job of resetting a walkway.
