A Fall Drive

We had some things to do in Lancaster, so I grabbed my camera, hoping to see signs of Fall.

Taking photos while Cerwin drives is a bit of a challenge. He doesn’t mind slowing down or even stopping when we are on a country road, but it’s a different story when in busy traffic.

I almost missed this pumpkin tree, so it’s a bit blurry. It was fun seeing it since we saw a few guys putting it up the other day.

Also, when on a busy road, there are telephone and electric poles and wires.

A yellow tree was pretty among the reds and oranges.

I thought I would surprise you with this insert since I didn’t want to give it an entry of its own. Plus, there are a few fall-colored leaves around it. 🙂

We were notified by Weaver Memorials a few days ago that our tombstone was put in place. So, we drove by our church to see it. It’s a bit strange to look at one’s own headstone, but it feels good to have that part of our life-planning finished. We love the simplicity of this one. Kind of like us. It is one decision our children won’t have to make. They said, “Just don’t fill in the last date for a long time.”

The view of our woodlot as we headed home.

A tree in our yard.

I love to live in an area of our country that celebrates each season with its own beauty.
