Ice is not nice on the road, but it sure looks pretty when you are inside looking out.

It just looked a bit wet when looking at the entire landscape, but the road was icy just after daybreak.

By 9 am the dogwood tree on our patio was ice-covered.

I went outside to get these closeups and got a bit wet from the icy rain.

The birds stayed away most of the morning, but when the rain stopped, and the ice began to melt a few of them returned to find food.
