Diane and I spent the morning at Jere and Kristen’s house, helping them cut meat and vegetables for the charcuterie board they were preparing for Gloria and Zach’s wedding the next day.

Little did I know how thankful I would be for the day (July 8) I spent preparing 7 1/4 gallons of mint tea concentrate.

Several weeks ago, our granddaughter Gloria messaged me, asking if I had enough tea concentrate to make garden tea for her wedding. I had more than enough, because each of these half gallons of concentrate would make more than 15 gallons of mint tea.

I did the final preparations on Saturday morning – for the tea and cut some fresh tea for decoration and to drop in the tea dispenser.

I also made tea hearts to keep the tea cold.

After the tea was ready for the wedding, the containers were washed and dried in preparation for any left-over tea. There was leftover tea, so I now have about 7 gallons of tea in the freezer which is ready for thawing when I need it.
