Saturday Evening, June 18

Jere and Kristen do an excellent job of hosting meals for a variety of people. We were honored to be invited to a Saturday evening yard supper with the Berkheiser’s.

We had a great time getting to know them and enjoying the delicious food.

It was a bit windy and cool, so Jared, Jesse and Ian went for extra warmth.

We all enjoyed Jesse’s choice of a coverup – a bathrobe. 🙂 I told him he looked like Grandpa on a cold, Winter morning.

Jere had a campfire ready, but by sunset it was still cold and windy, so we went inside.

I was anxious to see Jere and Kristen’s new flower container. He was painting it when we went to the house to pick up Jesse the other day. They have the most creative flower containers in their flowerbeds and yard.
