Our 10th great grandchild Emersyn May was born on May 16 and when I saw that someone had organized a meal train for her parents Nate (our grandson) and Lauree, I quickly signed up, so we had a good excuse to go to their house. 🙂
Lauree said Emmy had a rather unsettled day, but by the time we got there at 6 PM, she seemed quite peaceful – until they sat down for pictures. 🙂
She was fairly settled by the time we held her and was even yawning while in our arms. Maybe she was thinking, “These old people seem okay.”
She relaxed in her dad’s arms.
I think she recognizes his voice.

She was just one week old when I took the pictures on the 23rd. I can’t wait to see her again this weekend. We will get to see Heze and Kayla’s Stetson as well. Donovan and Diana’s baby is due any day. We hope they have it this week so they can bring a baby too. A boy. 🙂 We are having our family on Sunday – with an organized photo shoot with a young woman from church.
