Manheim Farm Show

This is what we did the evening after getting home from Maine.

We go to eat. 🙂 – French Fries and Milkshakes. In this picture Cerwin is putting ketchup on his fries.

Our daughter-in-law Kristen was serving milkshakes at the Manheim Brethren in Christ Church stand.

Our grandson Jesse was working in the background.

We love to see what Champion Woodcarver Dennis Beach has come up with each year.

He was World Champion two times.

He knows that this is a “farm” show, so usually comes up with some farm animals.

The buck is amazing – as is the cardinal in the background.

The cardinals were especially popular at the auction a bit later.

There were beautiful homemade crafts in one of the buildings.

I enjoy the vegetables and flower competition in another building.

We walked by the hogs as we went to the building where the auction was being held.

I couldn’t decide if these two were friend or foe.

Dennis’ woodcarving of a pig was a popular sale item, as was each of his items. I think h

this guy looks like Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web.

It was a delightful few hours. The weather was nice and we talked to friends that we hadn’t seen for awhile.
