I smiled when I noticed this Mourning Dove land in the flower bed and immediately go into sunbathing mode.
It is an incredibly beautiful day here in Lancaster County.
After watching it for a bit, I became concerned that it wasn’t sunbathing, but had something wrong with it. I tapped on the window which brought it to full attention.
My guess is that its a mama who needed a break from a busy nest. 🙂
Those are beautiful photos of a bird that I had always though somewhat dull — the wing and tail feathers are anything but dull! Thanks for sharing these!
I love how God created wing and feather patterns.
