Home from Bucks Montgomery

Sunday, October 1

This follows the Bucks-Montgomery post I entered the day before Cerwin’s surgery.

By the way, Cerwin is doing very well and has almost no pain today. Our nurse daughter-in-law stopped in this evening and encouraged him to start taking his pain pills every 5 hours instead of every 4 hours.

Back to October 1. You may remember that the chapel tractor “stop engine” light came on when we were prepared to leave Family Heritage Restaurant on Sunday morning – following the truck show and banquet.

We relaxed in the chapel on Sunday when we had electricity from the generator, but on Monday we had no electricity in the chapel when the chapel was in Bergey’s Garage, so we spent most of the day in Family Heritage Restaurant. The staff became quite familiar with us. šŸ™‚

It was good to receive a call that the tractor was finished and see Cerwin drive it from the garage to the parking lot – about 5:00 on Monday evening.

It was even better to be on our way back to TFC’s International Office.

God was good to us in causing the two-day delay to happen in a very comfortable location.
