Bluegrass Gospel at Line Lexington Mennonite Church

Saturday, September 15

We traveled to Sam Rittenhouse’s house, unloaded our overnight luggage, enjoyed supper at a nearby restaurant, then went to Line Lexington Mennonite Church for the bluegrass concert under the tent in the church yard.

We usually have a TFC chapel here, but due to a lot of rain in past weeks, it did not seem wise to park a rig on their lawn.

The Brunner Family, a local group, opened the evening with a super concert.

Remington Ryde from the Harrisburg area, presented an excellent bluegrass and gospel concert.

It was a beautiful evening to be outside.

They added a bit of comedy to their program, and I expect this was one of those times, as the man on the left was often telling “stories” on the group leader (with tie).

The evening was filled with talented musicians.
