The Wedding of Caleb & Renee and Nathan & Lauree – Part 1

Saturday Afternoon, August 18

We were excited to be invited to the double wedding of our grandson Nate, his bride, Lauree, her sister Renee, and her groom Caleb.

It was originally planned to be in this beautiful cove at The Vineyard, but rain (maybe storms) was predicted, so it was moved inside – next to the cove.

Some of our family arriving. Lois (Chris’ mother), Dustan (holding our new great-granddaughter, Jade), our granddaughter Jenna, our daughter-in-law Chris and our son Jeff.

Nate’s attendants. Do you think Justin and Jordan notice that I am taking their picture? Meanwhile Kyle and Coleman seem  to be discussing ushering or something about their jobs for the afternoon.

More flowers were added after my first picture.

Hugging his mom

Hugging his dad

Hugging Marilyn – his mother-in-law while Caleb, the other groom watches.

Entrance of the brides’ nephews – some served as ringbearers.

The brides’ father (Fred) brought Renee in first.

Then the wedding song changed – we all sat down again while Lauree’s girls entered.

Glenn Eshelman (founder of Sight and Sound) uncle to the girls performed the ceremony.

Caleb’s dad honored Renee and Caleb with a Jewish blessing.

Giving Caleb a prayer shawl. He also gave them a family Bible.

Our son Jeff shared a blessing with Nate and Lauree.

We were so proud of him, because public speaking is not something he enjoys.

Nate and Lauree. It was difficult for me to get pictures in their direction because of the lighting and my position in the audience.

The girls’ father, Fred, shared a blessing with the couples.
