We found this on our kitchen counter when we got home from Hanover Dutch Days on Saturday evening.

I was pretty sure I recognized the writing and the smile.

I was sure I recognized the writing on the jar lids.

Kristen always dates her jars of jam and puts a heart on it.

We weren’t in need of supper, but a slice of jelly toast was a perfect and delicious snack.
