A section of orchids.
There were white orchids…
…black ones – and many colors in between.
Butterflies and orchids – a beautiful respite in the middle of winter.
The butterfly house and orchid display – on top of the hill – were quite busy while Hershey Park rides below us were silent on this mid-winter day.
So many colors, so many shapes — they’re all beautiful! I’m surprised that the rides were silent — do they only run on weekends in the winter?
Yes, I told Cerwin I am thankful for color when at a place like that. I think the park is closed during the winter months.
Absolutely gorgeous orchids! Thank you so much for sharing many beautiful pictures of them! Did you take any pictures of the glass butterflies? I read an article in our paper about the ladies who were making them but haven’t been in the conservatory yet.
I just saw another orchid entry that I had missed & saw a picture of the glass butterflies. 🙂
