The sun was just right to take some pictures of Jere and Kristen’s crabapple tree when we arrived at their place just before noon.

Kristen was putting ice in the glasses. I relieved her of that job so she could go back to the kitchen.

She loves preparing and cooking this meal and invites our entire family, to make sure everyone has a place to go for Thanksgiving. Most of Mark & Diane’s family is in Maine, and Jeff and Chris and Nate and Abby’s families had other plans, so there were fourteen of us.

We each received a small pumpkin bread to take home.

Roy and Deb brought sparkling cider.

Delicious appetizer/snacks.
