February 8

We took our children here just after noon yesterday. Oh, what fun we had.

Roy, Deb, Kristen, Jere, Jeff, Cerwin and me. When a young waiter saw me taking the previous picture, he asked if he could take a picture that included me.

It appeared that he had never used a camera like mine, but he had fun trying a variety of angles.
We missed Mark and Diane who live in Maine, but will take them here sometime when they are visiting Pennsylvania.

As you can see by the previous pictures, we started our meal at their amazing salad bar. There was also a small hot bar that included seasoned corn, mac & cheese, and soup.

Before long the gauchos began serving meat on long skewers. This appears to be some kind of steak. There was a variety of steak, chicken, pork, and salmon.

Another skewer of meat. Notice, Jeff is holding a pair of tongues, preparing to take a piece of sausage as the server moved it toward the bottom of the skewer.

Our servers were told that it was my birthday, which means I got a free dessert of my choice. I chose flan.

The servers and our children sang happy birthday to me.

Roy and Deb wanted a picture with our fabulous waitress. We had a lot of fun with her.

Our children chose a variety of other desserts. This is Deb’s Crème brûlée. Other dessert choices by our table were cheesecake and flan.
We will do this again sometime – maybe my next birthday.
That looks like a great restaurant!
We had so much fun and loved the food.
What fun! Cream Brule is my favorite too!! Glad to see you did have a Happy Birthday!!
Thanks.
Great celebration with family…there’s nothing like it!!!

I agree. It is fun to be with just our children now and then because there is a large group when entire families are together.
