It’s difficult to believe that Hans took this picture at the Brussels Airport this morning.
This evening we are back in our house in Pennsylvania. I am sure Hans and Anneke are now sleeping (they are six hours ahead of us) and will wake up in a few hours to make a long trip to the south of France to be with her mom and aunt for the next few days. This will be a true vacation for them.
They deserve a vacation after working hard at planning a lot of excursions to make our vacation a delightful experience.
Today was long, but everything went well. It takes a few hours from start to finish at the large Brussels’ Airport. One thing we have learned when at a large airport is to ask questions before wandering around too long. 🙂
Today’s flight went well. It was all daylight flying – compared to all nighttime flying when we left the other Sunday evening. I watched a lot of food and home upgrade shows on the way home.
Now we must work through the six-hour time change for a few days. 🙂 It is 1:00 am to our bodies, but we will wait another hour or two before going to bed.
I took more than 2,000 pictures, so there will be a lot of things to tell you about during the next week. 🙂 I will start with my next post.
I am looking forward to “joining your adventure” by photos.
I hope I don’t dissapoint you. 🙂
Welcome home — will look forward to seeing your photos!
I think you will enjoy the photos.
Glad you are safely home, and glad you were able to go. Looking forward to seeing more pictures and hearing more about your adventures. I’m sure nobody else welcomed you like we did. Lol.
It is nice being back to a place where the signs are in English. 🙂
Looking forward to the pictures of your trip.
We thought about you a few times when we saw orchards and gardens.
Welcome back! Looking forward to your travel reports.
