To those who live in our area, notice the date is not from yesterday when we had a BIG rain. This is from a week earlier.
It has been so dry in our area that when we got a quick shower, this bird looked like it was dancing in our driveway.
Within less than a minute the rain stopped and the yellowish atmosphere told me there was a rainbow somewhere.
I had to go out to the end of our driveway to find it.
It was only a bit of a rainbow and not very deep in color. It disappeared at the top of the picture.
I loved when a bird flew into the shot.
It was a very short rain and did not even measure in the rain gage. But on that date we were glad to take any moisture we could get.
You had a rainbow! I looked all over for it that day, but it didn’t show itself where I was. It was so nice to see it here!
I had to make an effort to find it and it didn’t last very long.
We’ve had a lot of gray days recently, sometimes with some mist, but no real rain.
We had about 2 inches the other day. That really helped our water level.
We need rain desperately. We’ve had “scattered showers” but we need a day or two of region-wide steady rain. So glad you got some!
We were pleased to have several hours of rain the other day. That will really help our fields and yards.
