We wanted to make sure that Abby had time to heal and relax from the birth of Renee before adding to the excitement of their household, so checked what time worked on Sunday.

The best timing was after we attended the memorial service for our friend Alvin Wise.

Oh, she is so cute and looks a bit like Natalie – with a definite look of her own.

She was really alert for being four days old. Natty was standing a bit behind her head and when she talked, Renee moved her head to look at her.

With four of our 13 great grandchildren – Anthony, Natalie, Renee and Jasmine.

Jeff and Chris have 5 grandchildren – Jade, Drake, Bennett, Waylon and Emmy – with one on the way. Jade and Drake are expecting a new sibling in June.

Mark and Diane have 8 grandchildren – Nicodemus, Nzeba, Andre, Anthony, Natalie, Renee, Jasmine and Stetson.

Sisters

We didn’t like arriving about suppertime, but Nate and Abby decided to use a baby gift from our youngest daughter Deb and her husband Roy – order-in-pizza. Notice the three boxes in the center of the table. They chose Papa John’s. Oh, yum. Thanks, Roy and Deb.

I think we have a new photographer in the family. After supper Jazzy asked if she could take pictures with my camera. I have a heavy camera and wasn’t sure she could handle it, so I put the strap around her neck and held the camera and showed where to look and take a picture.

She was quite pleased with her first picture – her parents – and wanted to keep going.

I was surprised at how well she did and am sure Jazzy will want to keep fine-tuning her photography skills. She is already talking about getting her own camera.
