An Evening at Ichiban Japanese Steak & Seafood Restaurant

Our day began with a beautiful sunrise at 6:42 am.

I already showed you the next part of our day when Diane and I took Jazzy along for groceries (yesterday’s post).

By the time we got home from grocery shopping, Hezekiah, Kayla and Stetson had arrived from Tennessee. Diane was in her glory as she had another grandbaby to cuddle. Stetson is the oldest of our three great grandchildren who were born in 2022.

The sun was setting when we left the house (just after 5 pm) to take Heze and Kayla to Ichiban’s for their 2022 birthdays.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas when you drive in our area after dark.

Heze, Stetson and Kayla. Stetson wasn’t sure about all the fire and noise.

The beginning of our fried rice – my favorite food at Ichiban’s.

The fried rice being prepared.

Diane offered to stay home and babysit, but Heze and Kayla preferred to have her along on this dinner date. 🙂

An “onion volcano” is a regular when eating here.

Delicious vegetables coming up.

Preparing our meat orders: steak, shrimp and chicken.

My turn to hold Stetson. He is quite friendly and loves to be held.

We saw more lights on the way home.

Heze came upon this skunk just next to our house – after Cerwin and I were in bed. Heze was getting something out of their car when he heard a noise. He quickly and quietly came inside. Diane took this picture from a window – with my camera – just before 9 pm.
