Shopping with Jazzy

Our daughter Diane arrived (from Maine) the day before to help with our family’s Christmas celebration. She spent the morning at Nate and Abby’s to be with their three children (soon four) so Abby would have time for appointments and shopping.

When Jasmine heard that Grammy was going shopping with Great Grandma, she let it be known that she wanted to go along.

Our first stop was Martin’s Country Market, Ephrata, PA, where we got most of the groceries we needed for the things Diane and I were preparing for Sunday.

I don’t think Jazzy stopped talking from the time we got in the car until we took her home. 🙂 I think I was like that as a child. I always knew where Diane and Jazzy were in the grocery store because I could hear Jazzy talking.

When our children were young, we were always surprised at how much they talked when we took them away alone – usually for a birthday treat.

Our next stop was Esbenshade’s Garden Center for poinsettias to decorate our tables.

Jazzy, we were so glad to have you along on our shopping trip.
