After missing a really funny shot, I am using this photo to tell the story. As I was watching sparrows fight over suet, one sparrow (positioned similar to the one on the left) grabbed the tail of the other and pulled it away from the suet. It was left with the tail of the other in its beak while the one that had been captured dangled in mid-air. 🙂 How I wish that I had my camera ready.
Looks like there is a bit of courting going on here.
Love watching birds – even when they are ordinary house sparrows.
I do, too! Just like snow reminds me that He “washed us white as snow”, sparrows remind me of His loving care for us.
It’s nice to know that every creature has a purpose.
