Cerwin’s Birthday Celebration

~~~
Sunday Evening, June 6
~~~

Back: Chris, Mark, Cerwin, Kristen, Roy. Front: Jeff, Diane, me, Jere, Deb. One of the first things I wanted was a picture of us with each of our children (front row) and in-loves. This is the first time in a while that all eight were in the same place at the same time – and the last few times we were together, it didn’t work to take a photo.

I had Cake and Cup decorate Cerwin’s birthday cake. Using a section of Psalm 1:2.

Psalm 1: 1-3 Blessed is the man that does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

Cerwin listening to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren sing Happy Birthday.

Singing Happy Birthday

Cerwin thanking everyone before praying for the meal.

I had the food in the kitchen so there would be plenty of room in the garage. It was a hot day and we wanted to have everything in air conditioning.

We still had some large sparklers from Austin and Jana’s wedding and thought Anthony would enjoy lighting them.

Bennett moved in close to see what I was doing with my camera.

Jasmine came to see what was going on.

Anthony and Heze playing Corn Hole after it got cooler outside.

Diana and Kayla were on the other end. There was another game or two with a variety of players.

To top off the day, God gave us a beautiful sunset.

Since Cerwin’s birthday was in April, he is well on his way to his next birthday. 🙂
