Because we stayed for the posed photos following the ceremony, we were some of the last ones to go through the reception buffet. Cerwin and Diane (Heze’s mom)

Pulled pork (above) and pulled chicken (below) for sandwiches. There was a variety of barbecue sauces to go with it.

Delicious mac and cheese. I love a good mac and cheese!

Baked beans with hot dog pieces.

Cole slaw

From the balcony

Preparing to cut the bridal cake – with a bit of guidance from Aunt Anna Fay – who baked and decorated the cake.

I didn’t want you to miss the cake topper. I am sure it was chosen because they each have a dog. There was even a section in the reception barn where there were doggy treats to take home for your dog.

Heze standing next to the groom’s cake. I didn’t get a good picture of them feeding this cake to each other. She had a leather vest as well. It said Mrs. Myers – Tennessee.

The balcony where the wedding party was seated.

The beautifully decorated ceiling.

When Kayla was standing at the table next to us, I thought it would be fun to have a close up of the back of her dress.

First dance

Inviting others to join them on the dance floor.

After awhile, we walked back to the house. We were tired and I knew there was some cleanup to do in the kitchen and dining room. We found some of our grandchildren and friends on the deck at the house. When I mentioned that I thought they would be dancing at the reception, Josiah and Lydia (siblings) said we hear the music and can dance here. šŸ™‚
