I heard a rig nearby and noticed a log truck backing in the driveway below our yard. I knew why they were there. The owner had taken down a few trees that were leaning toward the house – and looking a bit dangerous, especially if there was a storm. Apparently he had picked up some logs before getting here.

I almost missed him leaving, but noticed that he filled the truck. It will go to a sawmill where the logs will be turned into boards for construction.
