A Variety of Blessings

The last week of April

Kristen was making chicken pies for her family, so made two small ones for us – for Sunday lunch, April 26. Jere brought them the night before.

So yummy!

One was more than we could eat in one setting, so we had delicious chicken pie for a few days. 🙂 I baked the second one a day later.

They also brought bar cookies for dessert.

The following Thursday morning, our niece Amy returned a coffee pot she borrowed and gave us three home-made donuts. She described the three flavors – but I only remembered the lemon-raspberry (left). That is my favorite. Cerwin enjoyed the other two – a chocolate peanut butter and maybe something like cookies and cream.

Later that day our granddaughter Abby returned a beverage dispenser that she borrowed. She gave us a loaf of blueberry-almond bread.

I hope they borrow something again – soon. 🙂

Abby sent us this photo of her, Jasmine and Anthony, a day or two earlier. What fun to see the faces of those we love during these days when Cerwin and I are supposed to stay home as much as possible.
