I chose to place this truck in a post by itself because it is so unusual. Did you ever hear of a Duplex?
The owner said he knows of three registered Duplex trucks in the country.
Jake talked to the owner (black hat) who said it is a working truck. He uses it about once a week.
One unusual feature is that the front windows tilt to give the driver air. This was built before air conditioned trucks. 🙂

Is Duplex the manufacturer, or is there some other reason this is so unusual?
Yes, it was the company who built the Duplex trucks. It appears they were custom built and not mass manufactured.

We just saw this truck on the road yesterday. Rt. 222 in PA.
