Lunch at Fox Meadows Creamery with TFC Friends

Wednesday, January 21

The Fox Meadows Creamery logo has a featured spot above the fireplace.

Sam, Kathy, Bunny, Peg, Inge, Rachel, Glenn, and Cerwin.

The one thing we have in common is that we are retired from Transport for Christ and love getting together every three months to catch up on each others lives.

Cerwin, Inge and I arrived early – 12:30 pm – and were glad to find two empty tables and push them together by the time the others arrived for our 1 pm meeting time.

Bunny and Peg will choose our next dinner date and restaurant location, because they are moving back to Massachusetts to live near their family sometime this spring. We first met them there when Bunny was a chaplain at Flynn’s Truck Stop, near Shrewsbury, MA.

They moved to Pennsylvania a few years later to work in the office and serve our chaplains. In recent years he was an independent chaplain to several local trucking companies. He is in the process of training someone to replace him before he retires and moves near their children.

Before leaving, we decided to buy a half gallon of one of their newest flavors – Chocolate Raspberry Truffle.

Chocolate is my second favorite flavor – I am a vanilla fan – but, oh my, this is delicious. If you like chocolate this is one to try. Every now and then I get a craving for a bit of chocolate in the middle of the afternoon. It won’t take more than a teaspoon or two of this to satisfy my craving.
